I love heels enough to irk any good orthopedic doctor, but lately I've been thinking about getting married in flats rather than sky high pumps. I know I'd be more comfortable and the options are just as pretty.
This is your chance to buy amazing heels that will last a lifetime! Hello Manolos or Louboutins?! You could wear the sky high heels for part and then swtich to the flats. Best of both worlds :-)
Fabulous! I wore flats at my wedding because my hubby & I are the same height so I didn't want to tower over him. It was the BEST thing EVER!!! And I found mine at Payless so they were cheap too!
Flats are SO the way to go for wedding day (in my humble opinion)!
I'll be rockin' flats at my wedding. I love the look of heels but... I wouldn't last very long! haha. Anddd.... I went shopping over the weekend and bought my dress (Yea!) and contrary to what I thought, its long. So no one will really even see my shoes. I like the idea of even wearing something ridiculous under my dress, like converse. I can't help love the sparkles though! I'd say, pick the shoes when you find the dress. If you get a tea length dress, heels would probably look better. Oh and my dress is NOTHING like what I thought I'd get. I swore I was going to get lace, coffee or champagne color, tea length (absolutely no train for me!), and no bling. My dress is long, with a train, has sparkly bling and is ivory (pretty much white). Haha! Go figure! But I felt like Barbie in it!
I wore flats on my wedding and would do it again in a heartbeat. There are so many other things to think about that you really want your feel to be chic but comfortable.
I think I'd wear flats at my wedding... I love the look of heels, too (and what they do to my legs!), but they're just uncomfortable in my opinion - I want to be bouncing-off-the-walls happy all day! also, I'm pretty tall as it is, I don't need any extra height on me.
I say do whatever makes you comfortable and happy. do what makes you feel beautiful!

I say whatever you are most comfortable in. I wore embellished strappy sandals that were super comfy and love that I can still wear them.

I totally agree. Those flats are perfect for wedding. Nr.3 is calling my name:) LOVE! Happy day, sunshine.
Flats are such a great idea! Who wants to wear heels all day long.. It's either Cowboy Boots or flats for this girl!
