Words to live by

Prince Lucien Campbell was one of the first presidents of my alma mater, University of Oregon. His accomplishments are too many and too historic to detail here; however, I wanted to share one thing about this remarkable man. In looking through his biography, I read this quote:

"I get so much pleasure out of the work that I do that a have a kind of 'sneaking' feeling about accepting a salary for doing it."

I have never seen my ultimate goal so perfectly articulated. I think this is a sentiment that everyone should feel, or at the very least, work toward feeling. I know I will.
